SWIR RSDs Training Programme 14th Aug 2011

Ym.Jose Alphonse (Area Treasurer) & ASD Leadership Training and Organizational Development

Ym.AT.George (PRD-MWIR)

Ym.Rajan Panicker (PAP)

The SWIR RSD's Training camp turned out to be a fruitful experience thanks to the perfect ambience ,well versed trainers and good time management . A clear departure from the past , there was no overcrowd , no late comers rushing in and uncomfortable attendees rushing out and much to our delight , no endless ringtones and loud conversation over the cellphone oblivious of the rest of the audience. There was no crowded dais either . It was exemplary for the leaders to leave the dais exclusively for the trainers .As such there were no distraction. The organizers ensured that the salutations and introductions are constrained .
Ym.Jose Alphonse , Area Treasurer and the ASD for Leadership Training and Organizational Development kickstarted the programme . It was obvious why he has been selected for the post . His skill lay in the fact that he could vividly talk about 'The Purpose of Training' , complete with stories to which the audience gave a keen ear . Many hoped that his class didn't end so soon.
The second session 'Leadership in Voluntary Organizations' was handled by Ym.A.T.George (PRD) whose content delivery was highly appreciable.
The tips that he provided were entirely practical for the RSDs or for that matter any leader of a club.
The final session 'Duties ,Responsibilities and Expectations from RSDs' was by Ym.Rajan Panicker (PAP) .He described the organizational structure in Y's dom and explained briefly the duties ,responsibilities and expectations of the RD from the RSDs.
Kudos to Ym.V.S.Radhakrishnan and team for organizing such an effective training programme. Tha audience loved the programme . I loved it too.
